Meet Saralyn

I am a Believer, Wife to Stephen, a mom of 2, Charlotte and Carson, a marketing/brand professional, passionate about health and wellness, a dreamer who LOVES all things beautiful and I like to leave a little SPARKLE wherever I go!

I want to share my main passion about family, fitness, faith, food, travel and all things beautiful with each of you! My goal with this blog is to share my journey with you, to hopefully inspire you to chase your dreams dreams, take joy seriously and follow your bliss.

After having our second child in June 2016, I dealt with the challenges from postpartum anxiety and depression. I thought it was something I could manage on my own. Thankfully, through support of my tribe and professional help, I am able to manage it and help others. When I stumbled upon this little fitness community and joined a private accountability group on Facebook... I was just looking to get in shape after having my baby, but what I found was something I never dreamed of.

Growing up, I have always been an athlete and have a passion for fitness. I have been a part of two state championship teams in two separate sports; softball and basketball. I later went on to play two years of basketball in college. I'm a lover of yoga, barre, and running - participating in several 5K's and a half marathon. I'm always been up for a challenge when it comes to health and fitness and that's why I feel called to share my journey.

What started as a fitness journey to help get the baby weight off and back into shape, had now become one of the biggest blessings in my life. I fell in love with the support and community of women I was working with in my support group. I fell in love with working out at home and the results I was seeing. And I fell in love with the way I was starting to feel. Through this experience, I also began to find my relationship with God.

So, I opened this little space on the internet to share my journey and to help others, in hopes of just keeping myself more accountable and maaaaybe inspire a few other women to get started working towards their own goals.

I am by no means perfect. I slip up, I still struggle, but I'm trying. With God's help, everyday I am working to become the best version of me and to use my gifts to glorify Him.

Because when I'm at my best, I'm able to give so much more to others - bring more people to Him.⠀

Thanks so much for popping in! I hope you're here to stay.

And don't be shy... feel free to reach out! I'm excityed to hear from you!

xoxox,
Saralyn
